The bridge has a length of 30m and a varying width of 2.5 to 3m (see attached plan). The main span exists of three tube sections which form an L-shaped steel skeleton together with the transversal girders. These girders exist of I-profi les with varying height, while the bridge skeleton is covered by steel plates. The opposite open side of the bridge exists of steel studs with glass panels in between. The bridge is supported by two fi xed points at one side, and two neoprene bearings at the opposite side to allow thermal deformation.

Extra information

In orde to prevent excessive acceleration levels during special events, a tuned mass damper was installed under the bridge deck.
