Technical drawings

The bridge consists of 6 HEB260 profil les with a centre-to-centre distance of 1.52m. Transverse at those girders, IPE160 profi les are provided each 1.452m . The L-profi les in the middle serve as windbracings. The bridge is vertically supported at lines A, B and C (see attached plan). At two positions and where three columns meet the oblique HEB260 profi le in the middle of the bridge, all translations are prevented. At both sides of the bridge there is a glass wall with a height of 1.2m and a railing with a height of 1m next to it. The bridge deck consists of wood while the underside of the bridge is nished with a metal grid.

Extra information

The maximum vibration levels of the bridge were measured during a busy moment on a regular day. With these measurements, the vibration behaviour of the bridge could be determined under normal conditions. During the measurings there was a maximum of 11 persons on the bridge, with a maximum acceleration level of 1 m/s². But from the relation between the mean vibration level and density of people on the bridge there can be concluded that the acceleration levels where overall acceptable.
